Cookie policy
This site is static and runs on the bare minimum. Here is, plainly, everything it stores in your browser.
What a cookie is
A small file a site leaves on your device to remember something between visits. The same legal umbrella covers equivalent technologies such as localStorage, which is the one this site uses.
What this site uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
jt-cookies |
First-party technical · necessary | Remembering whether you accepted or declined, so you are not asked again on every page. | 12 months |
That entry is exempt from consent: without it there would be no way to honour your decision. It is stored whether you accept or decline, because what it holds either way is your answer.
Analytics cookies
Right now there are none, and that is not a technicality: I measure visits with Umami, self-hosted on my own server, which counts without writing anything to your browser or recording your IP address. Even so, it only starts if you press «Accept». There is no Google Analytics, no pixels, no heatmaps, no advertising, and the data is shared with nobody because it never leaves my machine.
Third-party services
Typefaces are served from Google Fonts, which sets no cookies but does receive your IP address when the font file is downloaded, as happens with any external resource. It is the only request that leaves this domain.
How to change your decision
Whenever you want, right here. Withdrawing consent costs exactly the same as giving it.
Your current decision
